Sometimes, all it takes is one dude who loves music and enjoys video games to create a masterpiece. Looks like [bsd.u] is that dude. If you enjoy those mellow, chill lofi hip hop type beats, then this one is for you.
As with most of his beats, fountain of dreams is tranquilizing. The beginning starts off real calm, but then the drums pick it up and it's a real smooth beat.
[bsd.u] is definitely one of my favorite lofi/hip-hop producers. This track is perfect for when you are ready to wind down (with your method of choice) and just chill. I feel like he really has a good technique and really knows how to sample properly and make it his own to create beats that are enticing right from the beginning.
To me, it takes a lot of skill to create a song without lyrics that someone would want to listen to over and over. [bsd.u] is good at that. I love how fountain of dreams, although a chill lofi hip hop kind of beat, kind of has a slight little jazzy touch to it. (Anyone with any kind of jazz influence in their music easily sneaks their way into stealing a little piece of my heart.)
This song and pretty much anything [bsd.u] has ever made is brilliant. He takes his music seriously and it really reflects in his work.
