Lxw's music has intrigued me for a while, but when he recently dropped his latest track "Tied To You", it caught my attention.
Everything about this song is a vibe and Lxw knows how to emit emotion through his music for sure. When I first listened to it, I tried to have no pre-expectations, but I was impressed so much, I immediately played it a few times more with headphones on and eyes closed to take it all in.
First of all, I feel like the beat choice is excellent for this song. It has such a heavenly piano based melody and Lxw's delivery of the vocals coincide perfectly with it. With such a stellar beat, although it may seem like a challenge, Lxw certainly did not have any issues keeping the vocal mixing up to par.
As I mentioned previously, this track is flooded with passion and the lyrics portray much sentiment and express the effects of heartbreak. One of my favorite lines that I feel greatly sum up the theme is "Same thing, every day till I decay. Laying back on my headstone. I wish I could move on. But I'm tied to you." I love how poetic the lyrics feel and turn the pain into something so intimate and relatable.
